Mt.Nyenpo Yurtse is revered as the birthplace of the Golok tribes. The highest peak of Mt.Nyenpo Yurtse range is about 5369meters /17,611 feet above the sea level. The highest peak of Bayankara Range, located in Ngawa Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Jigdril county and Banma County the bordering areas of Qinghai and Sichuan provinces.

Health Request:

Due to the high Tibet plateau around 3000 meters to 4800 meters mostly, and we will pass by some mountain pass around 5000 meters, so strong health condition is required. If your health is not so good, you should check with a doctor before taking the decision of coming to Tibet.

Day 1: Xining—Gangya grassland—Labrang Monastery (2900m) 300km, 5hours/ Hotel

We drive to Labrang via Gangya grassland, once there in Labrang take a outer Kora of Labrang monastery and on the way visit Gongtang Gaint Stupa. Visit Labrang monastery, one of the six great monastery of Gelukpa school in Tibet, today home for over 1500 monks. Stay overnight in Labrang.

Day 2: Labrang—Takstang Lhamo(Langmusi) (3300m) 210km / 3 hrs / Hotel

Today we will drive to Takstang Lamo through the rolling grassy plateau;there are thousands of yaks and yak hair tents along the road to Takstang Lamo. It is a very beautiful village surrounded by green forest and rocky mountains. It is an excellent place for hiking and riding horses on day trips to visit nomad families and to have lunch with a nomad family. Once arrived there you can visit the monastery and hike up the gorge. You will Spend the night in Takstang Lamo.

Day 3: Takstang Lhamo –Machu—Jigdril (3400m) 210 / 4 hrs / Hotel

In the morning drive to Machu county through great rolling grasslands filled with yaks and sheep. Awantsang is very beautiful grasslands and there is very good chance to visit some local nomadic families on the way to Jigdril. There is very good chance to taste yak yogurt and yak milk. Once in Jigdril pay a visit to Talong monastery. Stay overnight in Jigdril.

Day 4: Jigdril county--Shugtso Lake (3600m) 60kms / 2-3hrs hike/ Camp

Today we drive to Jigdril, once Jigdril pay a visit to Talong monastery, which is one of the main monastery of Nyingma tradition. Afterward. We continue drive to Shugtso Lake, meet our yak men and horses here, then star our Mt.Nyenpo Yurtse trek, we will walk about 2-3 hours on the lake shore into the valley. Moderate hiking in massif Nyenpo Yurtse, mass for the people of Tibet. The trip aims at Nyenpo Yurtse compounds of the atmosphere, glaciers, valleys, meadows, hills streamer Pastor ' knowledge of life and landscape in the dense religious experience. Camp.

Day 5: Trek to Basic Camp (3500m) / 4-5hrs /Camp

Trek up to Ragbed valley along the upper Shugtso Lake. Visit local nomadic families and enjoy the breathtaking landscape of Mt.Nyenpo Yurtse range. Today we can see the Mt.Nyenbpo Yurtse peak on the way to our camping site. Camping

Day 6: Rakyi Pass (4300m) - Rakyi Lake walk 5-6hrs / Camp

We will pass the Rakyi pass, once on the pass we can see the most turquoise and most beautiful lake calls Rakyi Lake. It’s very beautiful valley. The view on the way to the Rakyi lake is spectacular. Camping near the local nomadic families.

Day 7: Trek to Tamuk Pass walk / 6-7hrs / Camp

Today we will trek along the Tamu Lake and valley up to the Tamu Nyaka the pass, once we arrived at Tamu Nyaka pass, where have a great view of Tamuk Valley and Rakyi valleys surrounded amazing mountain peaks and glacial lakes. Have a wild picnic at the pass and if the time allow take a visit to Tamuk lake and then back to the camp site.

Day 8: Jidril walk 2-3hrs--Thangkor town 3300m/ 220km 4hrs/ Hotel

Today walk down to the valley along the lower Rakyi lake and meet our driver at the winter place of local nomads. Say a goodbye to your yak men and finished your pleasant trek in the Mt.Nyenpo Yurtse. Continue drive to Thangkor town for the night.

Day 9: Thangkor - Zoige grassland--Jiuzhaigou National Park 2000m / 300km / 5-6hrs/ Hotel

Our guide and driver will come to meet your group at hotel and then continue drive to Jiuzhaigou National Park, it’s natural beauty valley with wild mountains and green forest. We will drive through one of the most beautiful grasslands in Asia, vast grasslands filled with yaks and sheep. Visit local Tibetan nomadic families on the way. Spend the night in Jiuzhaigou.

Day 10: Jiuzhaigou National Park / Hotel

After breakfast, prepare to enter the National Park gate; this place is one of the most natural beauty, with wild mountains and green forest and Tibetan style houses, before you enter the Park we hope all of our tourists are ready to take many pictures there, and spend the whole day to exploring this sacred Natural Park with snow capped mountains, colorful lakes, green forest attractive and attractive waterfalls, we will spend the night in Jiuzhaigou.

Day 11: Jiuzhaigou--Songpan--Chengdu 420km / 7hrs / Hotel

In the early morning, we will drive to Chengdu the capital city of provincial. Once arrive your hotel in Chengdu, say a goodbye to our Tibetan guide and driver. End your pleasant journey in Amdo.
