There is a Shaman Festival in Repkong(Tongren) County. “Shaman Festival” based on colorful folk dance, which is an important carrier of sacrificing and entertaining God. Through an ancient dance to entertain God, Tibetan pray that gods bless the land has an abundant harvest of all crops, the domestic animals are all thriving and good weather for the crops. It is also the ultimate purpose of this ritual ceremony.

Shama’s festival considered to be the most interested one. People in the villages conduct important ceremony which honors the local mountain god and asks for the good health of the villagers and a good harvest season for the year.
